Stanley Park Blackpool

Stanley Park, Blackpool’s largest and most beautiful public park, is located approximately 2 miles from Swish Holiday Apartments on Empress Drive, Blackpool. The drive typically takes around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. To reach Stanley Park, head south on the A584 (Queens Promenade), then turn left onto Warbreck Hill Road (A587). Continue along the A587, following signs for Stanley Park, which is located on West Park Drive.

Entry to the park is free. Some activities such as boating and sports facilities do have a booking fee.

  • West Park Drive Car Park: This car park is located at the main entrance to Stanley Park, providing easy access to the park’s facilities. It’s the most convenient option for visitors planning to explore the park.
  • East Park Drive Car Park: Another nearby option, this car park is situated on the opposite side of the park and also offers ample parking spaces.
  • On-Street Parking: Limited on-street parking is available around the perimeter of the park, though these spaces can fill up quickly, especially on weekends and during events.

 

It’s advisable to arrive early during busy periods, such as weekends or school holidays, to ensure you find a convenient parking spot.
