The multi-award-winning musical SIX, written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, has now confirmed its regal return to the Winter Gardens Blackpool as part of its UK tour from Monday 22nd December 2025 to Sunday 04th January 2026!
Following three previous sell-out engagements at the Winter Gardens, SIX follows Henry VIII’s six wives as they come to the stage to share their own personal stories, reimagining five centuries of historical pain into an 80-minute celebration of 21st century lady power.
This sell-out Tudor take-off has ‘an incredibly strong and powerful message’ (The Australian) and is ‘pure entertainment’ (New York Times), having won over 35 international awards, including the Tony Award for ‘Best Original Score’ and ‘Best Costume Design’, the Whatsonstage Award for ‘Best West End Show’ twice, and a Gold-Disk winning album.
From Tudor Queens to Pop Princesses, Henry VIII’s six wives share their stories, transforming five centuries of historical pain into an 80-minute celebration of 21st century women power. These Queens may have green sleeves, but their lipstick is a bold red.
SIX, written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, is directed by Lucy Moss and Jamie Armitage, with choreography by Carrie-Anne Ingrouille. The design team consists of Emma Bailey (Set Design), Gabriella Slade (Costume Design), Tim Deiling (Lighting Design), and Paul Gatehouse (Sound Design). Tom Curran orchestrates the score, while Joe Beighton provides music direction and vocal arrangements. Yutong Zhang serves as Musical Director, while Lauren Hopkinson is the Associate UK Musical Supervisor. Pearson Casting is responsible for the casting. Kenny Wax, Wendy and Andy Barnes, and George Stiles collaborated to create SIX.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. to Winter Gardens members on Thursday, December 5th, and to the general public on Friday, December 6th, 2024.
